FAQ's

My child currently receives Occupational Therapy Services at school. Can they receive clinic based therapy at the same time?

Yes. Clinic based Occupational Therapy Services are medically based and treat the whole child. Clinic based occupational therapy typically does not address educationally based skills or goals. If you are interested in clinic based occupational therapy services, speak with your child's primary care giver and contact our office at 603.228.9160

How do I schedule Occupational Therapy Services?

You can contact Marat at 603.228.9160 to schedule an appointment. You will be asked to complete a Developmental Questionnaire to help us understand your child. We believe that the parents are an important part of the treatment process and are welcomed during the evaluation. At the end of the evaluation session, we will review our findings and recommendations for therapy if necessary.

How open will my child receive services?

Typically your child will receive services one time per week. We arrange for an appointment time that meets your schedule and maintain that time weekly.

What is your cancellation policy?

We believe that consistent treatment is important to provide your child with what they need to meet their goals in the shortest amount of time. We are not allowed to bill your insurance when you do not attend an appointment. We require 24 hours notice to cancel an appointment. If we are able, we will reschedule your appointment during the week. If you do not provide a 24 hour notice, you will be charged a "failed to keep appointment" fee of $45.

What is your attendance policy?

We believe that consistent treatment is important to provide your child with what they need to meet their goals in the shortest amount of time. If your child misses three appointments without 24 hours notice, we will remove them from their scheduled appointment slot. Your treating therapist will discuss with you the roadblocks to attendance and work towards finding solutions to improve attendance before further sessions are scheduled.

Does the clinic provide treatment during inclement weather?

We tend to follow the Concord School District when morning appointments are concerned. If there is a two hour delay we will cancel morning appointments. If school is canceled for the day, we will cancel morning appointments and monitor the weather for afternoon appointments. If you have a scheduled appointment, we will contact you regarding the Agency's status. You will not be charged for a missed visit if you cancel an appointment during inclement weather.
