About Us

Capital Kids Occupational Therapy provides a team of dedicated, experienced occupational therapists with Sensory Integration as our Core framework.
We believe in working collaboratively with families, schools and community support networks to assist children with achieving their full potential.

Lynne Fleming OTR/L graduated from Quinnipiac University in 1985.
She has been fortunate to work as an occupational therapist in a variety of settings.
She was Board Certified by the AOTA in NeuroRehabilitation in 1992. Lynne spent 15 years working exclusively with children and families that experienced an Acquired Brain Injury. She has presented throughout the Northeast and has been a consultant to New Hampshire schools working to meet the needs of children who sustained a brain injury.

Lynne began Capital Kids Occupational Therapy in 2000. She has focused on meeting the NeuroBehavioral needs of children by studying techniques such as Therapeutic Listening, Ocular Motor Rehabilitation, Applied Behavioral Analysis, Picture Exchange Communication and Sensory Integration Techniques. She has advanced training in therapeutic Listening, Bal-A-Vis-X, Picture Exchange Communication and Balametrics. Lynne has also attended advanced trainings specific to Sensory Processing Skills, Ocular Motor skills, Acquired Brain Injuries and Selective Mutism.

Gwen Sheen is a graduate of the University of New Hampshire.  
She enjoys working with children who have a variety of diagnosis. Gwen organizes the Aquatic Therapy programs at Capital Kids Occupational Therapy. In our Aquatic Therapy Programs, we use the pool as a therapeutic modality to
address sensory processing needs. Gwen enjoys working with our preschool and grade school clients

Mary Proulx is a Certified Occupational Therapist who provides services for our school based contracts and sees children in the clinic. She has a Bachelor's Degree in applied Physiology and brings that knowledge to our clinic.
She is certified in the use of Aquatics to meet the needs of Children with Sensory Processing difficulties. She has also taken advanced trainings in the use of Handwriting without Tears.

Dianna Ferrara brings her positive energy and calm approach to our clinic. She received her Occupational Therapy Degree from Western Michigan University. She has provided occupational therapy treatment to children
with a variety of diagnosis for over 25 years. She is a Certified Therapeutic Listening Provider. Dianna is taking a very active role, along with L
ynne Fleming in the practice’s current

Marti Capuco graduated from the University of Puget Sound. She has a Master's Degree from Thomas Jefferson Medical College.  She recently  completed her BCBA  Certification from  Antioch College
. Her input has allowed Capital Kids OT, to bring a new level of expertise in the field of ABA services to our clinic.

Marti enjoys working with adolescents as they navigate their changing world.

Vicki Hopkins graduated from New York University and brings her energy and excitement to children and families. She holds an Advanced Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy with a Concentration in Family Studies. 
Vicki has Advanced Certification in Therapeutic Listening. She brings her perspective on Brain Behavior, the importance of Brain/Hand Dominance and Bal-A-Vis-X to our clients. Vicki has worked in public schools as well as the clinic setting and values the school-home-therapy collaborative.
